All or nothing By: Lynne Hurt and Jerrian Harris
Football season has came to an end; all the hard work, and practice has payed off for the Bowling Green Junior High School eighth grade football team. The school is expecting the best of them, and so are they. The BGJHS eighth grade football team went to state, in Lexington, Kentucky, and it was all or nothing.
The team played against Crosby Middle School from Louisville, Kentucky. They are a good team, they were a challenge for BGJHS football team.
“It will be a tough game, but it’s not a game we can’t we win,” said Ty Hampton, who is in seventh grade, but plays for the eighth grade team.
Then Ross Millet adds on “Tough matchup but I think we can pull it out.” They were very confident in winning to state.
Special tragedies the boys went through are, “Wide men have been pushing the sled , working on our footwork ,and running a lot,” mentioned Jayran France.
“Repetition of our plays because we all know we’ve been doing that for the entire season,” said Tucker Strode. They also do spread offense and getting go. They put their best effort into it and it was a great game
